READING U3A THEATRE VISITS GROUP |

|
The revived theatre group has now been running since February 2011 and during that time we have visited a number of theatres, including Oxford, Windsor, The Watermill and several London theatres. Shows have included 'Much Ado About Nothing' at Shakespeare's Globe, 'The Marriage of Figaro' at The Watermill and 'Strictly Gershwin' at Oxford - all very enjoyable. We normally travel in a group or people are free to make their own way to the theatre if they prefer and we always arrive in plenty of time to allow people to get lunch before the show. We have a trip most months but joining the group does not commit you in any way to attend regularly - some people have been on all the trips, many have just turned up once. Trips are advertised in the Newsletter but sometimes offers come up and they need to be booked quickly. In that case I contact the people for whom I have email addresses and in future I will try to get the information onto the website as well so please check back regularly for this type of information and make sure I have your email address if you want to be contacted. Future Trips Thursday March 8th at 2:30 Yes Prime Minister at Oxford Playhouse Click here for more information Thursday June 7th at 2:30 Of Mice and Men at The Watermill, Bagnor Please indicate if you are able to offer a lift or if you require a lift so that car sharing can be organised.
