Ambles and Walks
Walks of 4 - 6 miles take place on first 2 Mondays and last Friday of the month. All we ask is that you are fit enough to keep up with the group. Occasionally walks of over 5 miles are included in the programme which aren't suitable for everyone. Walks can be at quite a quick pace so if in any doubt of your fitness please do an amble first. Ambles vary in distance from 1.5 to a maximum of 3 miles, walking at a more relaxed pace. Ambles take place monthly, with an increase to twice a month from May to September. Walks are organised by members of the group. Volunteer leaders are always needed for some summer Ambles.
