Tai Chi
Tai Chi originates from Ancient China, where it started as a martial art. It is now
practised round the world as an effective exercise that has positive benefits for
health, both mind and body. Tai Chi can help to improve strength, balance, and
flexibility.
The classes held by Reading u3a are designed to be suitable for our
members, taking into account age constraints, mobility and/or balance problems.
We have a professional experienced tutor teaching Chen style Tai Chi. There are
three groups, two beginners, and an improvers for the more experienced. Groups
meet four times a month and ideally members commit to attending as many as possible.
